Flipboard is a social news aggregation and curation platform, available as a website and mobile app. It allows users to create personalized “magazines” by collecting and organizing content from various online sources, including news sites, social media, and blogs. Essentially, it’s a way to curate your own digital magazine experience based on your interests.
Flipboard has 145 million monthly active users worldwide, and The app is used globally, with a strong presence in the US and over 160 other countries.
At Ear Worthy, we’ve decided to curate our own Flipboard magazine, focusing on podcast discoverability for indie podcasts, podcast reviews, industry news, and podcasting tips.
We created Podcast News You Can Use. This curated Flipboard magazine can offer podcasters, podcast fans, and industry pundits a central location for podcast information.
Click on the link Podcast News You Can Use, and you’ll have access to critical podcast information sources. For example, you will have access to Into The Podverse by Tony Doe, who is one of podcasting’s brightest lights and influential experts.
Also included is Great Pods, where you’ll receive reviews of some of the best podcasts you’ve probably never heard of. Captain Ron is the master of ceremonies for a delicious and abundant buffet of terrific shows. Just click the link and say “Yes, Chef,” to your feast of podcasts.
For aspirational podcasters who want to succeed in the industry, we’ve included Podcasting 2.0 In Practice. Creativity Found entrepreneur and podcaster Claire Waite Brown can help with the basics of podcasting and exercising your creativity muscle.
For industry news, we have Podcast News Daily, Podnews and Sounds Profitable.
For those indie podcasters who need support with strategy and implementation, we offer In & Around Podcasting with Mark Asquith and Danny Brown. For strategy, check out Podcast Strategy Weekly with Chris Stone on Substack.
Then, we have a wide range of sites that offer podcast reviews and recommendations. Ear Worthy, of course, and Ear Worthy on Substack, along with Podcaster Profiles, which spotlights the most amazing indie podcasters in the industry.
We have also added a Podcast The Newsletter on Substack by Lauren Passell of Tink Media, EarBuds Podcast Collective with Andreea Coscai and Arielle Nissenblatt, and Pod The North with Kattie Laur.
